This optional unit, following on from the core course, covers Handheld Power Saws.
We can cover circular saws, jig saws, and reciprocating saws.
The HSE have identified that saws are the most dangerous tool for woodworkers, but have also stated that with proper training most accidents could have been prevented
This optional unit is specifically for people using or supervising the use of hand held power saws
This unit takes between 1/2 and 1 hour after completing the core power tools course
This course can be delivered at your venue or ours, after the core course
This additional unit cost around £10 when completing the core course
